“Composed Strokes” 시리즈는 고전 피아노 작품의 미디 데이터를 시각적 언어로 번역한 드로잉 작업이다. 작곡가가 시간 위에 배열한 선율, 화음, 강약의 구조는 화면 위에서 선(線)으로 다시 태어난다. 음의 높낮이는 위치와 간격으로, 강약은 선의 굵기와 밀도로 전환되며, 음악적 시간은 연속적이면서도 겹겹이 얽힌 시각적 리듬으로 확장된다. 이 작업은 음악의 청각적 경험을 시각적 질서와 우연의 조형으로 변주하는 실험이자, ‘작곡된 선들’이라는 개념을 탐구하는 일련의 연구이다.

​The “Composed Strokes” series translates classical piano compositions into a visual language of drawing. The melodies, harmonies, and dynamics arranged in musical time are reimagined as lines on the canvas. Pitch becomes position and spacing, dynamics emerge as thickness and density, and musical time unfolds into layered rhythms of strokes. This work is both an experiment in transforming auditory experience into visual order and chance, and an exploration of the very idea of “composed lines.”
